CHAX: Runtime Error 52

This error occurs because of incomplete / incorrect database path for the Program.

Please follow the instructions below to update the program data path:

Open the folder C:\ProgramData\Chax Inc\XMLDIR

  1. Right click on file ‘chax.xml’ and open with Notepad
  2. Change the database path written between the key C:\YOUR-DATA-PATH-HERE\
  3. Save and close the file

If your Database is on a shared network DRIVE, then you need to enter the complete server folder path. For example: \\servername\serverfolder\chaxdata\

The default database location for the CHAX Program is C:\ProgramData\Chax Inc\chaxdata\

NOTE: To make these changes, you need to have Admin Rights to the machine.
